Birch Laminate Resin Infused Combs
for the Hohner Marine Band

These combs are made of multiple layers of dyed Birch veneer which have been infused with and are bonded together with phenolic resin.  The layers may be all the same color, like in the case of the Walnut Laminate, or they may be in different colors, as is the case with the Americana (Red, White and Blue) and the Rainbow (Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue and Violet) laminates.  These combs are cut using CNC technology and are the same specs as all the other Hohner Marine Band combs I offer.  They will fit all the 10-hole diatonic harmonicas in the Marine Band Family – Marine Band 1896, Marine Band Deluxe, Marine Band Crossover and Marine Band Thunderbird.

What is the reason for offering combs made of Birch Laminate?  Aside from the fact that they are beautiful, the most important thing is that they are made out of wood.  We have not offered wood combs for almost ten years.  If you are someone who loves the tone of wood combs, now we have something for you.
